No, I can’t take credit for this quote. If you’re a movie buff, you will recognize it from Men in Black. I found it fitting in relation to who will be attending the first ever, RecruitFest.
The event is the first for Jason Davis, who runs Recruitingblogs.com, and it looks to be an interesting one. Some of the confirmed attendees (according to my facebook application) include:

Why I am talking about this event? I think it’s an important event for people to attend, for the following reasons:
1. The event has a small intimate setting. This is great if you’re looking for answers. The bigger events are sometimes too much for shy people who want to ask questions, but feel intimidated by a group.
2. You can mingle with some of the best minds in the industry. Having spoken at numerous events, it’s very hard to get to meet everyone, and sometimes very exhausting. This type of event allows you to network, pick brains, and play cards with people you wouldn’t have the opportunity to meet at a larger event.
3. Cost is a big reason to attend. Most events will charge over $1,000.00 to attend events. This one is only charging $225, what a steal!
4. Toronto rocks, if you have never been, then I would recommend it. The city is very clean, has great sight-seeing, and the food is to die for. Make a trip out of it.
If you only attend one event this year, make sure it’s this one. I have known Jason Davis for a good number of minutes…sorry, years, and he doesn’t disappoint. I’m finalizing my travel plans right now, and look to make it for RecruitFest this year, I hope you join me!
